I hope you have all been well! 🙂 I’ve been continuing my attempt at adulting which is not going that well haha. The struggle is real!
I’m here today to share my winter favourites with all of y’all – I’ve missed a few months of favourites so I decided to combine some of my top favourites for the winter.
I have been OBSESSED with sheet masks lately! I’ve honestly been enjoying every mask I’ve tried – specifically brightening and moisturising masks! Sheet masks in the winter are awesome because they are super hydrating and I find winter always makes my face feel dry. I definitely recommend trying out sheet masks if you haven’t! They usually take only about 20 mins of your day and I typically just go on my phone while I sit with it on 🙂
I’ve been loving the Brightening mask by Trefiel because the sheet mask is literally lacey and BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend trying one out – they are honestly super pretty to wear and don’t make me look awful like regular white sheet masks haha!
I also love the Sephora face masks– in particular, the rose ones because they smell like roses (obviously) and rose scented ANYTHING is amazing! My favourite scent is the smell of roses 🙂
I got this Sephora Collection Rose Trio as well during a Sephora sale (maybe Black Friday?) and it only cost $10! The sleeping mask is great but I do think I prefer the face or eye mask because I toss and turn in my sleep a lot and found the sleeping mask to be pretty goopy as I would move around.
I absolutely LOVE the Sephora Cleansing Wipes but I only use them to take off makeup swatches on my arms. When I used this on my face I found my eyes stung a bit unfortunately and the corners of my eyes hurt the next day. The scent of these are great though, and I found no irritation on my skin when I used it on my arm to take off swatches so that is what I tend to use them for. For someone just taking off their daily makeup, I maybe would not suggest this remover only because I had negative results due to my eyes.
The Pantene Air Spray is a product I’ve really been enjoying because it holds my waves yet doesn’t contain any alcohol. It doesn’t smell as strong (obviously because there isn’t alcohol) and it doesn’t harden much either making my hair still feel really flexible. I typically use a stronger hairspray if I am going to an event but I turn to this on the daily! 🙂
This body wash literally COMPLETES me! I love how refreshing and fruity it smells! I feel like it has the perfect scent of freshness. I keep re-buying this because it smells so delicious!
Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Peach-Infused Highlight Palette – I haven’t tried the contour side of this palette yet, but I’ve really been liking the highlight shade in this trio! It is super natural but makes my face look super radiant. It smells like peaches as well which is totally an added bonus!
E.L.F Contouring Brush – I’ve really been enjoying this ELF Contouring brush! It is affordable yet does the job really nicely. It is a really dense brush that packs a punch and is really easy to contour with! I’ve seen so many expensive brushes – for example, the Nars Ita brush – which I have and use, but this brush also does the job well and costs a fraction of the price.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Papa Don’t Peach Blush – OKAY y’all need to get this blush! It is sooo beautiful! It has such a nice peach glow that really illuminates my face. It looks like a really nice natural blush that just makes me look radiant! Seriously, this blush is my go to for an everyday look!
Tarte Cosmetics Shape Tape Contour Concealer – So this concealer deserves its own picture because it is simply AMAZING! I was really excited to try this concealer but also skeptical — I’ve heard really good things about it, but wondered if it was just hyped up. Honestly, this concealer totally lives up to the awesome claims. It is full coverage, does not crease and they have a large range of shades. I use it for my under eye area and it never creases! I heard they may be making a Shape Tape foundation so I’m excited to see what happens in the future 😉
Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy Kyshadow Palette – I’ve tried Kylie Cosmetics lip kits and they were so-so in my opinion….but the eyeshadow–wait excuse me, kyshadow (lol) palette is AMAZING! I love how pigmented they are and they blend out beautifully. The Burgundy Palette specifically has shadows that are right up my alley. Every time I wear this palette I always get multiple comments! 🙂
Pantene Intensely Strong Repair Creme – This leave in conditioner has made my hair feel more strong and has actually made my split ends look bearable! I’ve been growing my hair out and this repair creme has totally helped do the job! I don’t use this every time I wash my hair but I do use this about once a week!
Olay Eyes Illuminating Eye Cream – Okay, so I’m all about the illuminating aspect in this product! From the first time I used this, I could see the illuminating glow right away. I’ve noticed that my under eye area has been really dark before and using this I can notice a difference! I do feel like I need to use it on a daily basis though. I stopped using it for like a week or so and could see more of a negative difference — so this may need to be in my regular routine! I think using this on a consistent basis will be key 🙂
Marc Jacobs Air Blush Soft Glow Duo in Flesh & Fantasy – I’ve been wearing this blush so often and it honestly goes with every look! When I don’t know what blush to use, this one has been my go to because it always makes my look appear stunning! I highly recommend this blush. I love the formula of these blushes–I have three so far and have gotten them all in a span of a year which shows how much I adore them!
Crayola for Clinique Chubby Sticks for Lips in Mauvelous – Chubby sticks are always my favourite to use when I’m going for an effortless ‘no makeup, makeup’ look. This shade in Mauvelous is super gorgeous! I love the name and the colour pops but isn’t too vibrant. The formula is super creamy and hydrating which is another reason why I love chubby sticks so much! I absolutely adore how Clinique and Crayola teamed up for this collaboration…it definitely makes me happy to see parts of my childhood and makeup collide!
