Hi, hello!
I’m really excited to let y’all know if the Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette is worth it or not because there’s been quite a bit of hype around this release! This glow palette contains one blush, one bronzer and two highlights. These were all hand picked by Chrissy and the palette offers new limited edition shades as well as the loved highlight in the permanent line, Rose Gold.
This palette costs $54 CAD which for Becca products, is worth it in my opinion as you get three new shades with one existing permanent one. The packaging alone is quite beautiful – the outside packaging is rose gold with almost a marble look to it, and the interior packaging has rose gold encrusted around it with a light pink and orange marble on the top of course, with Chrissy Teigen’s signature. The packaging already speaks volume and I feel any beauty junkie would find this a necessity to add to their collection. But does the product live up to its claims?
One thing I do wish was that the bronzer was a tad bigger in size – I feel like I would go through that much quicker as the size is small. I love how the new highlight also has Becca with a heart on it – I think it creates such a classy and elegant look to the interior of the palette!
Top to bottom:
- Rose Gold: This is a permanent shade in Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector line and is a straight up lovely rose gold shade. For my skin tone, this personally is a bit too deep for me BUT when I now mix it in with the other highlight in this palette, it works!
- Hibiscus Bloom: This luminous coral blush definitely brightens up my look – I feel that I achieve a healthy glow when I wear this blush, which is something I think we all desire! It is pretty pigmented as you can see, so I recommend using a light hand for sure as you can build it up as you wish.
- Malibu Soleil: This bronzer is the perfect shade – not too brown, not too orange. Like I mentioned previously, I wish this particular shade was a bit bigger in terms of the packaging, but as a product itself, it is definitely pigmented and blends really easily.
- Beach Nectar: I think this is definitely the winner of the entire palette. This shade has the perfect amount of pink and gold together and looks just gorgeous on my skin! (I hate to toot my own horn, but it really does look great LOL). Like I mentioned, I like mixing this with rose gold but I can easily wear this shade by itself as well.
So, back to the ultimate question…Is it worth it? Well, I worked it for sure and I definitely think it is worth it! From the stunning packaging to the amazing product inside, I totally feel like y’all need to get this!
Let me know if you picked this up or if its a pass for you…and let me know your favourite Becca item down below! I definitely want to try more Becca products.
Love always,
I was tempted to get this because all 4 shades are new to me, I don’t have Rose Gold highlighter. The only reason why I resisted was the fact the two highlighters are bigger than the blush and bronzer, it just doesn’t make any sense to me at all. π¦

Yeah I definitely agree, having them smaller is very odd.

It is a beautiful palette for sure and I too was tempted to get it but I decided to pass as I already have the Jaclyn Hill Becca palette. I just didn’t feel I needed it and like Shireen mentioned above, the bronzer should have been bigger. xo

Yes! its just strange putting a brush in that small little area for bronzer!

I’m digging both Malibu Soleil and Beach Nectar! I agree, they should have made the bronzer bigger. They could have made one of the highlighter smaller, if anything.
My favourite Becca product is their under eye corrector! I was surprised at how well it works.

I LOVE their eye corrector! So, so good! I actually stopped using it (not sure why) but I’ll have to pull it out again!
