Hi, hello loves! I hope you’ve been well.
Today I’m super excited to share my brand overview of Pixi Beauty with all of you. I get sent Pixi products periodically and some items I unfortunately could not try due to my peanut/nut allergy (you’d be surprised how many cosmetic items have nuts in it!). They went to a good home where someone could use them though, which is what matters. I’ll be sharing some products I’ve received and/or purchased from the brand and what I think about them!
Unfortunately the Glow Mud Cleanser and the Glow Tonic were not ‘nut free’ for me to use, but the Overnight Glow Serum has been an item I’ve been using with the dropper to provide a luminous glow. I’ve only been using it for about a week so I can’t say it provided any crazy differences yet, but I do love the scent and the glow it provides me at night!
This Book Of Beauty Glow Getters palette provides a really soft highlight which is awesome for those who like a pretty and settle look! Some of the highlights were more pigmented than others and I definitely feel there’s a brightening shade here for all skin tones. This is supposed to provide an airbrush look and I totally agree that it provides that!
The Endless Silky Eye Pencils are one of my favourite liners – its a pencil gel liner that doesn’t smudge and stays put during the day. They come in numerous colours and my favourites have to be the brown shade and champagne to wear on my waterline. I totally recommend these eye pencils!
The Mattelustre Lipstick formula is really nice – it isn’t drying at all yet looks matte. The shade I have is in Peach Blossom and its a perfect spring and summer colour that is bold enough to make an impact but isn’t too out there.
These eyeshadows are my FAVOURITE! I really didn’t expect to love these so much to be honest, but I’m soo in love with how buttery they feel and how pigmented they are. I have the Copper Peach palette and I quite like the colours – they are right up my alley. These are hands down my favourite mineral palettes and I also love how thin and compact the palette is – perfect for travelling light!
I’ve been really into using tints lately, so I was super excited to have received this gift from Pixi Beauty!
These Gel Tint & Silk Glosses feel so moisturizing and nice on the lips – I love how the stain leaves an effortless hint of colour to the lips. I’ll be honest, I’m not much of a lipgloss person so I rarely use that side, but the gel tints on their own have been very moisturizing! My favourite gel tint would be the Berry Tint and Sweet Gloss as it is such a natural shade! Kind of my lips but better 😉
Once you remove the gloss and the initial gel of the tint, this is wha you are left with on your lips! I personally think all these shades are gorgeous! 🙂
I’m not a huge fan of cream blushes, but I’ve never used a gel before as a blush so I was pretty curious when Pixi sent these my way. Hands down my favourite shade is Natural (second shade swatched) which literally provides a natural flush of colour to the cheeks. The first swatch is Rosy and the last is Flushed. As you can see in the first swatch picture, when you squeeze this out of the tube, the formula is in fact very gel like. It was not streaky at all when applied either, which was awesome!
Pixi Beauty recently collaborated with a bunch of beauty gurus and came out with a number of beauty items such as a contour/highlight kit, a blush, highlight, cleanser and an eyeshadow palette!
The Pixi x Maryam Maquillage Strobe and Bronze Palette provides an effortless glow and bronze – the formula is super creamy and blends really nicely! I do wish the highlight shades were a touch lighter as I feel someone with light skin complexion may have a hard time pulling off the highlights.
One of my favourite Pixi products right now is the collaboration with ItsJudyTime, one of my favourite YouTubers – her family is so cute! The palette, ItsEyeTime comes with 12 amazing warm toned shades that are super blendable and pigmented. I personally think this eyeshadow is a staple in my collection and is super easy to travel with!
Another one of my favourite collaborations is with Aspyn Novard, a super cute YouTuber who posts amazing videos and is really good at editing them too! Her collaboration is both a highlight and blush, London Lustre and Rome Rose. London Lustre has just enough highlight for a no makeup look – it is still a bit bold but is generally more settle and allows you to build it up more. Rome Rose provides an amazing pink/gold sheen to the cheeks and gives a healthy flush!
